Guideline for Engineering Education in Bangladesh

All of the public engineering universities in Bangladesh are offering different engineering courses. There are some colleges under these universities.

There are also some private engineering universities in Bangladesh. Most of the engineering universities are known as Engineering and Technology University.

Departments and Subjects of engineering universities:
Architecture (Arch), Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Chemical Engineering (Ch.E), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (NAME), Textile Engineering and others.

Most of the private universities have 4-8 subjects and some of them are specialized in specific subject. Most of the universities offer admission after HSC result. They publish admission notice on their official website. Student can apply, enrollment, submit or register themselves through online registration. Online PDF format of application forms are also available. Student can get free essays, prospectus, guidelines, and can download.

General Requirement for Admission and Guideline:
Every University has their official website. They publish all the information on their website. First read rules and proceed. There is some Quota system for freedom fighter and others. Minimum HSC pass from Science background with Mathematics. Minimum Requirement GPA 4.00 out of 5.00 points in SSC/HSC.

Admission System:
Public and private education institutions receive admission application via online registration. Admit card, fee payment, seat plan and everything they manage by own websites.
